20A- Growing your Social Capital


Domain expert in your industry.

1) Who are they?  
This person is Daniel, he has worked with a company whose main focus is to provide repair services, great knowledge with electron

2) They are filling the Domain expert role

3) This person is a family friend who I made the call too after requesting to talk to him

4) I have worked for this person before and helped him at the shops. He has received favor before so did not request one

5) This person has the right knowledge and future contacts to help my project on a small scale, at least to provide guidance.


Expert on your market

1) Who are they?
This person is Marcos; he has launched a couple of services and works a lot in real estate.

2) They are filling the expert on market role

3) This person is a classmate I met this semester since we had a couple of classes together, I messaged him for advice.

4) This person requested me to spread the word about a couple of open houses in order to receive customers on his end to.

5) This person has a lot of contacts, his customer are of a much older age group, which is my focus in my prototypical customer


Supplier in Industry

1) Who are they?
This person is Jesus; he has worked with selling items throughout the amazon network and has a good relationship with suppliers.

2) They are filling the Supplier in Industry role

3) I found this person through my dad; he has worked with this person before and has a good relationship

4) The nature of the exchange is business; we have in a past worked together

5) This person can assist me with quality suppliers that I might need in order to keep my services running at a low cost.

  1. Hey Alex, you did a good job on your post. It is nice that most of the people on your list were people that you already knew, or your family knew. That means you have already been working on your social capital contacts probably before you even realized that is what you were doing. I seems that you have a good social network to get any help you might need while starting your business. It is good that you have that to rely on.
